Urology is an area of medicine that looks after the urinary system and, for men, the reproductive system. This includes your kidneys, bladder, urethra, and in men, the prostate and testicles.
If you’re worried about peeing, pain, or men’s health concerns, we’re here to help. Our specialists offer fast care with most tests and treatments available on-site.
Your urologist may recommend one or more of the following tests. These are all available on-site.
Cystoscopy: A test where the doctor uses a thin tube with a camera to look inside your bladder through the urethra. It helps find problems like infections, stones, or cancer. It can also be used to take samples or treat issues.
mpMRI: A special type of MRI scan that gives a clearer picture of the prostate than a standard MRI. The name stands for multi‑parametric magnetic resonance imaging.
PSA test: A blood test that measures PSA (prostate-specific antigen), a protein made by your prostate. It helps check for prostate problems, including cancer.
Uroflowmetry: A test that measures how fast and how much you wee, and how long it takes. It helps find problems like weak bladder muscles or blockages.

At your appointment, your consultant will listen to your concerns and medical history. They'll also do a physical exam if needed.
3. Diagnostic tests
Your consultant may recommend tests or imaging. Most are done onsite, often on the same day, so you don’t have to wait long.
4. Follow-up
When your test results are ready, your consultant will walk you through them. You’ll have time to ask questions and decide on next steps
5. Treatment
We offer many treatments onsite. If you need complex care, you can choose your preferred hospital from our London network.
6. Onward care
