If you’ve visited us for specialist care

If you’ve had any tests or scans, your consultant will let you know when to expect your results. You may need to return for a follow‑up appointment.

If you’ve had a procedure, please arrange for someone to collect you. If needed, our reception team can help you book a taxi.

Payments and charges

There are two types of fees, which are charged separately:

  • consultant fees – the cost of your specialist’s time, expertise, and any care they personally provide
  • centre fees – the cost for use of the hospital’s facilities, equipment, and clinical services

If you haven’t had a test, scan, or procedure, you’ll only be charged consultant fees.

Your consultant will invoice you for their services. This invoice may be sent directly to your insurer or sponsor, or to you personally. Your consultant’s secretary will be able to advise you on how this will be handled.
