Whatever your age or stage of life, you’ll receive care you can trust at Bupa Canary Wharf’s private gynaecology clinic. From easing period pain to navigating menopause, we’ll give you clear advice, compassionate care, and treatment that’s right for you.

We understand how busy life can be, so we offer flexible appointments – including lunchtime and after-work slots. Most tests and many treatments can be done right here in the clinic, so you don’t have to travel elsewhere. And if you do need complex care, you’ll be able to choose your preferred hospital from our London network. Wherever you go, you’ll have access to the very best consultants in their specialty.

FAQs

A gynaecologist is a doctor who looks after your reproductive health. This includes your ovaries, womb, cervix, and vagina.

Worried about breast symptoms? We also offer breast screening service onsite.

Your gynaecologist may recommend one or more of the following tests. These are all available onsite.

Colposcopy: A test which allows your gynaecologist to examine your cervix (opening of the womb), using a magnified camera. It’s recommended if a cervical screening reveals changes in the cells, often linked to certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV).

Hysteroscopy: A test which allows your gynaecologist look inside your womb, using a thin tube with a small camera inside it. It’s often done to investigate certain symptoms such as unexplained vaginal bleeding.

Pelvic CT scan: A scan that uses X-ray and computer software to create detailed images of the pelvic organs.

Pelvic MRI scan: A scan that uses magnets and radio waves to produce images of the pelvic organs.

Pelvic ultrasound: An external scan which uses high frequency sound waves to create a picture of the area between your hip bones (your pelvis).

Transvaginal ultrasound: An internal scan that uses high frequency sound waves to create a picture of your pelvic organs.

Vaginoscopy: A test which allows your gynaecologist to examine your vagina, using a magnified camera.

Vulvoscopy: A test which allows your gynaecologist to examine your vulva (opening of the vagina), using a magnified camera.

If you need surgery or another treatment we can’t provide at the centre, you can attend any one of our London hospitals. This includes Cromwell Hospital in Kensington, King Edward VII’s Hospital in Marylebone, and New Victoria Hospital in Kingston upon Thames.

If you’re paying for your own care, please get in touch with us on 0204 604 9393. We’ll give you a clear price for your consultation and explain any costs for further tests or treatment.
