Mr Pavlos Pavlakis

Mr Pavlos Pavlakis is a highly skilled Robotic Urology Surgeon with a specialisation in pelvic uro-oncology, focusing on prostate and bladder cancers.

Mr Pavlakis completed his medical degree at the University La Sapienza of Rome and furthered his expertise in robotic surgery with a Master’s degree from the University Pierre Marie Curie in Paris. He then honed his robotic surgical skills through two prestigious fellowships, one in Robotic Prostatectomy at Karolinska University Hospital Stockholm and another in Robotic Cystectomy at Royal Surrey County University Hospital Guildford.

His extensive experience is evident in his participation in over 1000 operations related to prostate and bladder cancer over the last decade among high-volume centres.

Currently, Mr Pavlakis serves as a Specialist Consultant for the Robotic Cystectomy and Robotic Prostatectomy service at Southend University Hospital Mid South Essex Trust. Mr Pavlakis is a member of the multidisciplinary uro-oncology team meeting of the same Trust, and also a member of the complex pelvic MDT meeting.

Mr Pavlakis also offers a specialised approach of robotic radical prostatectomy utilising the Retzius Spare technique, which he was trained in by Professor Christopher Eden at Royal Surrey County Hospital.

Mr Pavlakis offers consultations in four different languages: Greek, English, French, and Italian.
