Mr Sasindran Ramar

Mr Sasindran Ramar is a highly experienced robotic surgeon with over 30 years of surgical practice, based at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London. He specialises in robotic upper GI, metabolic, and bariatric surgery, and is nationally recognised for his expertise in gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and revision bariatric procedures.

With experience of around 500 robotic surgeries, Mr Ramar is known for his excellent safety record and consistent outcomes. He is particularly skilled in single-port robotic surgery, performing gallbladder and selected hernia procedures through a single incision hidden within the belly button, resulting in minimal visible scarring, less pain, and faster recovery.
