Mr Mostafa Abdalla is a Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Advanced Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) and Endometriosis. He completed his undergraduate medical degree, as well as his specialist training in obstetrics, gynaecology, and infertility, at Cairo University before moving to the UK to undertake further advanced training in gynaecological oncology and endometriosis surgery across several leading tertiary centres, including Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Abdalla is currently based at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with additional honorary clinical and research roles at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His practice focuses on providing women with evidence-based, compassionate, and highly specialised care for complex gynaecological conditions. He also serves as a senior council member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
With extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic and open pelvic surgery, Mr Abdalla manages a wide range of complex cases, including deep infiltrating endometriosis, frozen pelvis, complex ovarian pathology, and challenging hysterectomies. He has completed advanced subspecialty training in both gynaecological oncology and advanced minimal access/endometriosis surgery, enabling him to safely and effectively operate in both benign and oncological settings.
Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Abdalla is actively involved in academic research and has authored numerous publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, BJOG, International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the Journal of Clinical Medicine. His research interests include gynaecological cancers, sarcoma management, fertility-sparing surgery, endometriosis surgery, and surgical innovation.
Mr Abdalla is also deeply committed to surgical education and training. He has organised and taught on multiple national and international courses, including GESEA programmes, BSGE RIGS courses, hysterectomy masterclasses, and advanced laparoscopic simulation training. He is the co-founder of Pelvicscope, an advanced pelvic surgery masterclass dedicated to enhancing surgical excellence in minimally invasive gynaecology. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualised patient care grounded in scientific evidence, surgical precision, and patient empowerment. He is particularly passionate about improving outcomes for women living with endometriosis and complex pelvic pain, ensuring that every patient receives clear information, compassionate guidance, and access to the most advanced treatment options available.
