Dr Norman Kufakwaro

Dr Norman Kufakwaro is a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation, whose NHS practice is based at Barts Health NHS Trust. Dr Kufakwaro trained in London at Barts and The London School of Anaesthesia and Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital.

His pain training included complex pain procedures, including spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation and intrathecal pumps. He specialises in management of a wide array of chronic pain conditions using latest techniques in pain management.

Dr Kufakwaro has been a stakeholder in development of national guidelines for management of low back pain. He is currently involved in development of Chronic Pain: assessment and management NICE guidelines. He is an educational supervisor for London Deanery and actively involved training pain registrars and fellows.
